Professor Christian Sandrock is the Director of Critical Care, Vice-Chair for Quality and Safety, and Professor of Medicine at UC Davis Medical Center, USA.

Professor Sandrock has an M.P.H. in International public health, an M.D. degree from Lund University, and is Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine, Infectious Diseases, as well as Pulmonary Disease by the American Board of Medicine. His clinical interests lie in respiratory infections, community-acquired and viral pneumonia, and ICU-acquired infections. His research interests include emerging infectious diseases at the animal and human interface, particularly respiratory infections such as avian influenza, SARS, and other diseases acquired by humans, and he has published more than 50 peer-reviewed publications on the topic.

Professor Sandrock believes in a patient-driven and centered approach that focuses on holistic care, including family support, alternative therapies, religion, lifestyle practices, cultural practices and other modalities in conjunction with conventional therapies.

Dr Asok Kurup is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Chair of the Infection Control Committee of Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He also serves as Visiting Consultant to the Department of Infectious Diseases, Singapore General Hospital.

Dr Kurup received his MBBS and Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the National University of Singapore. With a keen interest in infectious diseases, he pursued advanced specialty training in Singapore as well as the University of California, San Diego, USA, where he was a clinical and research fellow.

Dr Kurup currently serves as Chair of the Medical Board at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, and Chair of the Antibiotic Stewardship Committee of IHH Healthcare Singapore. He is the immediate past Chair of the Chapter of Infectious Diseases Physicians, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He is also a member, Panel of Infectious Diseases Experts for COVID-19 Vaccines and Therapeutics, Health Science Authority, and a member of the Workgroup for COVID-19 Therapeutics, National Center for Infectious Diseases.

Dr Kurup has been involved in several multicentre trials in the treatment of invasive fungal, MRSA and HIV infections, and he has contributed to over 140 scientific publications and abstracts. His work has published in various international journals, including Clinical Infectious Diseases, New England Journal of Medicine, and the Journal of Clinical Microbiology, among others.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Kurup is also recognized for his community outreach and relief work, and he was recently awarded the national Public Service Medal (COVID-19) and COVID-19 Resilience Medal. In September 2023, he also received the IHH Clinician Excellence Award 2023.

Dr Choon Kit Leong is a Family Physician in private practice with training in Public Health and Family Medicine. Besides running his own clinics, he administrates the Tampines Family Medicine Clinic and is the Clinical Lead for Class Primary Care Network, both being MOH projects.

Dr Leong is the founder and immediate past Chairman of GP+ Co-operative, a self-help social enterprise aiming to transform care by benchmarking clinical quality with price. He is also an exco member of the Singapore National Co-operative Federation (SNCF), the apex body of co-operatives in Singapore.

Dr Leong is also a Council Member of the Singapore Medical Council, Chair of the Primary Care Network Council and member of the National GP Advisory Panel. He also represents the College of Family Physicians Singapore in various committees concerning Family Medicine.

Dr Leong is an Adjunct Assistant Professor for Family Medicine in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School. He is also a Clinical Tutor for undergraduate at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. For post graduate teaching, Dr Leong is a Lead Tutor for the Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine course conducted by the College of Family Physician Singapore and GP Tutor for family medicine residents at the NHG Polyclinic and SingHealth Polyclinic.

Among several of his interests are preventive medicine and research in primary care. He is a strong advocate for smoking control, vaccines and suicide prevention. Currently he sits on the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine Primary Care Research Network council to help promote research among GPs. At other times, Dr Leong volunteers himself in medical mission overseas and sit on committees at community and educational services.

Mark Laudi is an accomplished media mentor, business conference anchor, and radio and financial television current affairs show host based in Singapore. He is a veteran of the traditional and new media, with 25 years’ experience in print, radio, television, new and social media, and communications coach to senior business and government leaders in Asia and the Middle East.

Between 1999 and 2006, Mark anchored and produced regional network television business news programs at CNBC Asia Pacific. He anchored Squawk Box, and performed various roles including Australia Editor, and Sydney Bureau Chief. From 1997-1999, Mark hosted news programs at MediaCorp, and was a member of the inaugural production and presentation team of English-language talk radio station CNA938.

He started his media career at age 21, becoming Australia’s youngest current affairs show host on ABC Radio. He is a Gallup-certified Advanced CliftonStrengths® coach, and a member of the Asia Pacific Association of Communications Directors (APACD), the International Coaching Federation, Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry & Commerce.

When he is not coaching top executives in presence and media skills, he is a presenter himself at numerous business conferences and events as conference anchor or moderator.
